Operations Control Tower

Day-ahead view of fleet, commitments and cost-aware dispatch planning.

Priority & dispatch queue

Decisions are validated for capacity, pallet space, driver availability, remaining hours and delivery risk. Inputs are illustrative.

Freight utilization

Available fleet capacity

Quick expected-cost example

Cheapest initial travelTruck A · $30
Expected total cost (A)$70
Expected total cost (B)$60

Sample assumptions: $200 lateness cost; Truck A 20% late risk, Truck B 5%. Route-level optimization uses a separate calculated engine.

Shipment Operations

Real pickup → delivery pairing. Filter, inspect, and plan assignments.

Orders & service commitments

Pair rule: each order has one pickup and one delivery. The planning engine always schedules pickup before delivery, and checks the remaining driver and vehicle capacity.

Fleet & Drivers

Availability, capacity, licensing indicators and remaining duty time.

Fleet assignments

Changes are local to your browser
Simplified demo duty limits are configurable assumptions, not verified Canadian legal compliance. Dangerous-goods and cargo-securement certification are not modeled. Never dispatch directly from this demonstration.

Smart Route Planner

Risk-aware assignment with pickup precedence, capacity, deadlines and operating cost.

Planning assumptions

Editable demo inputs

Cost inputs represent estimated marginal costs. They are not actual Trans Ontario rates. Reliability is computed from a transparent toy uncertainty model.

Proposed truck-by-truck plan

Awaiting calculation
Press “Suggest Full Plan” to calculate a route assignment. This button runs a real heuristic in your browser.

Route preview

Schematic, not road navigation
The optimizer tests capacity, skid spots, availability, hours, pickup-before-delivery, deadlines and cost. No plan is applied without your approval.

Profit & Risk Optimizer

Choose the lowest expected incremental cost without sacrificing required service reliability.

Your team's differentiator

Run a financial what-if

Scenario: $200 lateness cost

Illustrative alternatives, independent of the actual daily planner.

Expected cost = direct travel cost + (probability of lateness × consequence of lateness). Actual profit requires real shipment revenue and verified operating costs.

Financial decision policy

01 · Validate

Respect hard constraints

Check capacity, handling, legal availability, pickup order and non-negotiable safety.

02 · Forecast

Estimate the financial risk

Estimate lateness probability and cost rather than only comparing kilometres.

03 · Select

Minimize expected cost

Rank feasible alternatives; human dispatcher chooses whether to apply.

Pickup Opportunity Finder

Find incremental pickups that could reduce empty driving and unnecessary separate trips.

Nearby pickup candidates

Computed from demo coordinates
Run the analysis to compare compatible truck/pickup combinations.
“Nearby” does not mean feasible. The tool checks equipment proxy, residual space, remaining work hours and impact on current assignments. New pickup locations are illustrative, not GPS-tracked.

Disruption Recovery

Re-evaluate unfinished orders when a truck or driver suddenly becomes unavailable.

What-if simulator

Trigger scenario

No real driver or truck is affected. Calculations use current demo assignments and simple routing assumptions.

Recovery options & cost

Apply a suggested plan first, then simulate a breakdown to compute recovery options.

Change & audit history

No changes yet.

Data & Assumptions

Separate observed facts, estimates and demonstration inputs — no hidden assumptions.

Import shipments (CSV)

For free static hosting, upload a CSV exported from the workbook. Nothing is sent to a server by this code.

CSV columns: id,customer, pickup, delivery, weight, skids, deadline, priority. Places must match the demo place dropdown: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Oakville, Richmond Hill, or Depot. Use HH:MM for deadline.

The sample driver-day Excel workbook was supplied separately and is not embedded in this public demonstration. Import only approved, anonymized data.

Assumptions & important limitations

Travel time

Coordinates form a simplified GTA schematic. Distances are Euclidean estimates multiplied by a road factor. Not road-accurate or live traffic.

Cost

Editable illustrative marginal rates. Revenue, vehicle ownership, fuel, insurance and penalties are not validated company data.

Safety

Weight/skid/hour checks are simplified. Dangerous goods, exact physical loading, licence compliance and legal working-hour rules require verification.
